In 2021, organized by China Baowu, guided by World Steel Association and China Iron and Steel Association and co-organized by China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, the Global Low-Carbon Metallurgy Innovation Alliance was founded, and the Global Low-carbon Metallurgy Innovation Forum 2021 was also successfully held. We worked together with 15 countries and 62 alliance members including industrial associations, steel companies, R&D and design institutes, colleges and universities, and upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain, and pooled our wisdom to jointly establish a sharing and exchange platform, build new partnerships and create a green and low-carbon ecosystem in the iron and steel industry.

Global Low-Carbon Metallurgy Innovation Forum 2022 & The 8^th Baosteel Biennial Annual Conference is scheduled to be held from November 16 to 18, 2022. With the theme of “To Reshape the Key Role of the Steel Industry in the Sustainable Development of Mankind”, the conference focuses on the low-carbon metallurgical technology reforms in the steel industry, the efficient utilization of clean energy and the hot topics in green development, and aims to share the achievements and practices of technological innovations in the industry.

The conference will set the main venue and 7 technical branch venues covering steel green manufacturing, green products, green industry and smart manufacturing this time. We sincerely appreciate the enthusiastic support from the representatives participating in the previous sessions and warmly welcome all experts, scholars, and scientific and technological workers in the global steel sector to attend the conference, pursue the technological innovations in the industry together and share the latest academic progress.
