Welcome to the 12th China International Steel Conference and the 2023 Global Low-Carbon Metallurgy Innovation Forum, jointly organized by the China Iron and Steel Association and China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., will be held at the Golden Furnace • China Baowu Steel Conference Center on October 15, 2023.
The China International Steel Conference is a high-level international conference primarily focused on in-depth discussions and exchanges of the steel industry's development, addressing comprehensive and strategic issues. It serves as a high-end platform for communication and cooperation between China and countries worldwide. The conference is held every two years, and since its inception in 2000, it has successfully hosted eleven sessions, gaining high recognition and attention from the domestic and international steel industry.
In 2021, China Baowu established the "Global Low-Carbon Metallurgy Innovation Alliance" and successfully organized two Global Low-Carbon Metallurgy Innovation Forums. The alliance aims to collaborate with industry associations, steel enterprises, research and development units, universities, and partners across the industry chain, pooling wisdom and creating a technical exchange platform. It seeks to construct a green and low-carbon ecosystem for the steel industry and actively explore low-carbon transformation and development in metallurgy.
